Miss World is the oldest continuously operating international beauty pageant, founded in July 1951 by Eric Morley in London, United Kingdom. Julia Morley, his widow, now co-chairs the beauty pageant. Miss World promotes human problems through 'Beauty with a Purpose'. Sweden's Kiki Hansen was the first Miss World winner, crowned in 1951, while India's Rita Faria was the first Indian to win the coveted title in 1966.

1- Rita Faria (1966)
